Psychedelic Integration Therapy in Connecticut
IPI Certified Provider offering preparation and integration support
Important Legal Notice
I do not provide, prescribe, administer, or recommend any psychedelic substances. All integration services are for legal contexts only, including legal ketamine therapy, approved research studies, and processing past experiences using a harm reduction approach. Careful screening is conducted to ensure appropriateness and safety.
What is Psychedelic Integration Therapy?
Psychedelic integration therapy is specialized therapeutic support that helps individuals process, understand, and integrate insights from psychedelic experiences into their daily lives. As an IPI (Integrative Psychiatry Institute) Certified Provider, I offer evidence-based preparation and integration services within legal and ethical frameworks. With over 12 years of clinical experience—beginning at Silver Hill Hospital in New Canaan, CT—I bring extensive training in EMDR, DBT, and IFS to this work. I work a hybrid schedule, offering in-person sessions at my Darien office and telehealth throughout Connecticut.
This therapeutic approach uses established psychological principles to help clients make meaning of profound experiences, process difficult emotions that may arise, and integrate new perspectives into their ongoing mental health treatment and personal growth.
Preparation Support
Education and psychological preparation for individuals considering legal ketamine therapy or participating in approved research studies
Integration Processing
Therapeutic support to process and integrate insights from legal psychedelic experiences or past experiences using harm reduction principles
Ongoing Support
Continued therapeutic work to incorporate new perspectives and insights into mental health treatment and personal development
Legal Contexts for Integration Therapy
I provide integration therapy only within legal frameworks:
Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP)
Integration support for clients receiving legal ketamine treatment through licensed medical clinics in Connecticut, such as Silver Hill Hospital. Ketamine therapy is FDA-approved and legally available for mental health treatment.
Approved Research Studies
Therapeutic support for individuals participating in FDA-approved clinical trials or research studies involving psilocybin, MDMA, or other substances under medical supervision.
Legal Jurisdictions
Integration for experiences obtained legally in jurisdictions where certain psychedelics are legal (e.g., psilocybin therapy in Oregon, Colorado).
Harm Reduction Approach
Processing and making sense of past psychedelic experiences using evidence-based harm reduction principles, helping clients understand and integrate these experiences safely within their therapeutic journey.
The Integration Therapy Process
1. Initial Assessment
Comprehensive evaluation to understand your background, mental health history, current circumstances, and goals. We'll discuss the legal context of your psychedelic experience (past or planned) and assess appropriateness for integration work.
2. Preparation Phase (if applicable)
For clients planning to engage in legal psychedelic therapy, we work on psychological preparation, setting intentions, understanding what to expect, and building coping skills. I may provide referrals to licensed medical providers offering legal ketamine therapy.
3. Integration Sessions
Following a psychedelic experience (past or recent, in legal contexts), we process what occurred, explore insights and emotions, address difficult content, and work to integrate new perspectives into your life and ongoing mental health treatment.
4. Ongoing Therapeutic Work
Continued therapy to support lasting change, address any challenges, and incorporate insights into daily life, relationships, and personal growth goals.
Who May Benefit from Integration Therapy?
Psychedelic integration therapy may be helpful for individuals who:
- •Are considering or receiving legal ketamine therapy for treatment-resistant depression, anxiety, or PTSD
- •Are participating in FDA-approved clinical trials or research studies
- •Have had past psychedelic experiences they wish to process and understand
- •Obtained psychedelic therapy legally in jurisdictions where it's permitted
- •Want to explore how emerging psychedelic research might inform their mental health treatment
- •Need support processing difficult or challenging psychedelic experiences
IPI Certification & Training
As an IPI (Integrative Psychiatry Institute) Certified Provider, I have completed specialized training in:

Current Research Landscape
Recent research shows promising results for psychedelic-assisted therapy in treating:
- • Treatment-resistant depression
- • PTSD and complex trauma

While research is promising, psychedelic therapy is still emerging. Integration support helps clients understand this research context and how it may inform their treatment options within legal frameworks.
Important Considerations
Not for Everyone: Psychedelic experiences are not necessary, suitable, or safe for all individuals. Careful screening is required to assess medical and psychiatric contraindications.
No Substance Provision: I do not provide, prescribe, administer, sell, or recommend sources for any psychedelic substances. Integration therapy is the therapeutic processing component only.
Legal Compliance: All services are provided in accordance with Connecticut law and professional ethical standards. I can provide referrals to licensed medical providers offering legal ketamine therapy.
Harm Reduction: For individuals who have already had psychedelic experiences, I provide non-judgmental therapeutic support using harm reduction principles to help process and integrate these experiences safely.
Confidentiality: All therapy is confidential within the bounds of Connecticut law and professional ethics, with the same protections as any mental health treatment.
